Our raw cashew pieces still give you all the benefits of full sized cashews but are available at a lower price. They can be added to salads, exotic stir fries, Indian curries and are often used in vegan meals. They keep the same buttery sweet taste as full sized cashews, just are a little bit smaller.

Cashews nuts are part of the cashew apple (which is used to make an alcoholic drink). The exterior layer of the nut is removed by heat treatment after which an interior hard shell must be cracked before a final layer is pealed of by hand after which one can find the yummy, creamy, cashew interior. This intense labour, often by treating the nut one by one by hand, explains why cashews are one of the higher valued nuts.
