Our pesticide free pecan pieces are great for baking, cooking, using as a topping or as a wholesome snack. Pecans are smooth pinkish-brown nuts with an edible kernel similar to a walnut. We love pecans in muffins and off course the pecan tart!

The main difference between pecans and walnuts is that a pecan shell is oval shaped and a darker brown, while the walnut has a very light brown color and is round-shaped. Both nuts might have many similarities in shape and appearance, but pecan nuts taste sweeter than walnuts whilst walnuts have a slightly bitter taste. For this reason, walnuts are often roasted before they are used in certain recipes.
Store open or closed under refrigeration for up to 6 months. This item can be frozen.
